SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to training cold weapon similar to slash-and-thrust cold weapon, in particular, to sports Cossack shashka, and is intended for sportsmen engaged in “flanking”, suitable for both beginners and professional sportsmen. Sporting shashka contains a single-blade blade, a handle made of two parts and a blade heel, wherein the shashka is made of hard wood, the balance of the blade is offset to the centre of the blade, the nose of the blade is rounded, and the cross-section of the blade is wedge-shaped, its foot is made in length of 45-50 mm, and its faces are rounded, wherein the weight of blade is 450-500 g.
EFFECT: reduction of injury risk, weight, more accurate execution of flanking elements and more reliable retention in the hand, easier change of grip and absence of hand rubbing.
