FIELD: cosmonautics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to space engineering, namely to design of fuel tanks of spacecrafts intended for storage of liquid fuel in rocket engines. Tank comprises a housing with at least one convex rib forming an angular capillary, and an intake opening located on one of these convex ribs. Inner surface of the tank is made hydrophilic. For use of fuel tank is filled with liquid fuel and supercharging gas. Further, fuel is fed into the engine system through the intake opening. At that, fuel moves due to supercharging gas pressure and local pressure drop in angular capillary.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of fuel supply, increased reliability of the tank, increased useful volume.
