FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: simulation device comprises a flat transparent container with a narrow inner cavity formed by two parallel walls of the container, pressure tight connected to the side walls, partially filled with the tested liquid, rotary base for container installation and mechanism of base turning relative to horizontal plane. Container walls are made similar to those of fuel tank shell at points of its cross section by two parallel planes with fragments of capillary intake incorporating mesh phase-separating filter and radial ribs. Said fragment including segment of mesh phase separation filter and radial rib is included in simulation device and is installed between walls of container with clearance between walls of container and radial rib. Side walls of container are made of material wetted by tested liquid, and parallel walls of container are made of material not wetted by tested liquid, besides, container is equipped with nozzles for supply and removal of gas and liquid from container.
EFFECT: possibility of long-term monitoring of hydrostatic and hydrodynamic processes in containers filled with the tested liquid when simulating zero-gravity conditions in ground conditions.
