FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle tire (1), in particular, to orientation of antiskid studs in tread. Tire comprises tread section (10), which passes around tire in longitudinal direction of tire and during its use is in contact with road surface. Tread part (10) further comprises a plurality of tread blocks (11) separated from each other by grooves (13), and each tread block (11) has front edge (15) defining main direction (16) of tread block (11). Tread blocks (11) are equipped with antiskid studs (5) having stud tip (54) with two or more face surfaces (56) of different width. At least some of anti-skid studs (5) installed in tread blocks (11) are installed so that the widest front surface (56) of stud tip (54) is substantially parallel with main direction (16) of tread block (11), in which antiskid stud (5) is installed. Deviation between widest face (56) of stud tip (54) and main direction (16) of tread block (11) is from −10° up to 10°.
EFFECT: improved tire adhesion to road surface in icing conditions.
