FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: gas turbine system (1) comprises combustion chamber (3) configured to burn fuel and oxidizer and generate hot combustion gas under pressure, and turbine (5) in fluid communication with combustion chamber (3) and rotated by expansion of hot combustion gas under pressure from combustion chamber (3). Heat exchanger (21) is fluidly connected to turbine (5) and is configured to cool expanded combustion gas removed from turbine (5). Main oxidizer feed line (13) is configured to feed oxidizer into combustion chamber (3) through heat exchanger (21). Oxidizer flowing through heat exchanger (21) exchanges heat with combustion gas removed from turbine (5). Fuel supply line (39) supplies fuel to combustion chamber (3). Line (53) for supply of auxiliary oxidant is made with possibility of supply of oxidant to line (39) of fuel supply upstream of control valve (41) for fuel. Also disclosed is a method of operating the system.

EFFECT: disclosed is an oxygen-fuel turbine system.
