SUBSTANCE: cleaning head (10) for a wet cleaning vacuum cleaner, comprising: housing (12) having a width between first and second side walls (20, 22) and a length, wherein the length is parallel to the intended main direction of movement of the cleaning head on the floor to be cleaned, wherein the housing has a minimum distance (S) above the floor to be cleaned, first and second rotating brushes (14, 16), each of which passes along the width of housing (12) between the first and second side walls (20, 22) with parallel axes rotation and side by side in direction of length, and suction channel (40) to provide suction in at least space (24) between first and second rotating brushes (14, 16). Housing (12) comprises first projection (60) extending inward from first side wall into said space, wherein first projection has first guide channel (62) creating a first region with a greater distance than said minimum distance (S) and second projection (80) extending inward from second side wall into said space, wherein second ledge has second guide channel (82) to make second area with greater distance than said minimum distance (S).
EFFECT: design of the disclosed device promotes formation of a side air flow into the space between the brushes, and thus, reduces the accumulation of water.
