SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a wet cleaning device (10), such as a wet cleaning vacuum cleaner. Device for wet cleaning comprises cleaning head (12) for cleaning of surface to be cleaned. Cleaner head has dirt inlet (11). Motor (14) and fan (16) provide suction at the dirt inlet. Device for wet cleaning includes separator unit (18) for separation of water from air flow created by suction. Separated water is collected in container (19). Container has top part (19A), bottom part (19B) and side part (19D) passing between them. Separated air passes from the container in the direction of the motor and the fan through air channel (22). Air channel is spatially separated from the lower part of the container. Device for wet cleaning has handle (24) for user to grip the device. User pushing the handle causes the movement of at least the cleaning head and the container forward, and the user pulling the handle causes the backward movement of the at least the cleaning head and the container in the direction of the user. Water collected in the container is splashed onto the side of the container when the user pushes the cleaning head and container forward. Water directing element (26) tightly adjoins the side part and protrudes inside the container in the opposite direction from the side part, in order to prevent the continuation of movement of water splashed onto the side part along the side part in the direction of the air channel.

EFFECT: higher efficiency.
