FIELD: mass spectrometry.
SUBSTANCE: screening method comprises the following steps: before outputting a laser synchronization pulse, a first voltage signal is transmitted to the deflecting conductor to generate a deflecting electric field for deflecting the flight direction of non-target ions; when the target ions escape from the accelerating electric field, applying the second voltage signal to the deflecting conductor so that the target ions reach the detector; and when all target ions pass further deflecting conductor, first voltage signal is supplied to deflecting conductor. High-voltage pulse circuit and the ion selection circuit include a first voltage source, a second voltage source, a pulse circuit and a series RC circuit. Difference between the voltage output by the first voltage source and the voltage output by the second voltage source is not less than a predetermined voltage; and transistor switch closes and opens to realize switching of high and low voltage levels.
EFFECT: longer service life of the mass spectrometer and accuracy of selection.
