FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a dynamic control circuit for a dimmable lighting arrangements. Result is achieved in that dynamic control circuit (1), realized for connection in series with LED arrangement (2), is equipped with first switching element (Q1) realized to provide a path for LED current (ILED), and monitoring arrangement (M) realized to control first switching element (Q1) according to the level of LED current (ILED) so that dynamic control circuit (1) presents a series impedance, wherein said impedance gradually increases in response to decreasing LED current (ILED) through LED arrangement (2). Invention also describes dimmable lighting arrangement (10) comprising LED arrangement (2); driver (3) realized to provide input voltage (Vin) and input current (ILED) to LED arrangement (2); and dynamic control circuit (1) connected in series with LED arrangement (2).

EFFECT: technical result is an improved way of driving an LED arrangement from a dimmable power supply providing reduced power loss and ripple suppression.
