FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of pipes. Oxidation-free pressing is performed on the press with independent piercing system of tubular billet with formation of sections of front and rear plugs with vacuum treatment of tubular billet cavity, further drawing of tubular billet with annealing. After pressing one of sections of tubular billet containing plug is squeezed. Tubular billet is drawn without mandrel using said section for gripping by pulling tool of drawing machine.
EFFECT: operation of cutting off sections with front and rear plugs is eliminated and the possibility of transmitting greater force during drawing without the risk of breakage of the billet is ensured.
