FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building. Machine for planting sugar beet mother root vegetables contains a frame with a suspension device, planting sections, hoppers, support and support-transport wheels and a semi-automatic planting apparatus. Latter includes a pair of support discs connected to each other by means of leashes, and planting cones hinged between support discs. Latter consist of fixed and movable semi-cones and have spring mechanisms for closing the movable semi-cones, pushers of sugar beet root crops and a drive sprocket. Stationary semi-cone consists of a bracket and a housing with bent lugs, which is formed in three bends. Movable semi-cone consists of bracket and body, which is formed in two bends. Sugar beet roots pusher includes attachment plate, leg and installed at an angle α pushing disc to it, wherein angle α is chosen so that at the moment of maximum penetration of the sugar beet roots the pushing disk occupies a horizontal position. Push disc working surface edge has R-radius collar changing into taper recess at push disc central part. To ensure the sugar beet roots pusher legs free entry into the planting cone cavity, as well as the movable semi-cone deviation possibility, triangular cutouts are made at top parts of housings of fixed and moving semi-cones in lengthwise-transverse plane. Body of the fixed semi-cone is a fragment of a thin-walled octagonal pyramid with rounded faces cut off by a transverse vertical plane along the axis of symmetry. Lines of bends are made as per appropriate vertices of upper and lower octagons. Ratio of generatrix diameters inscribed into inner cavity of fixed semi-cone is D1f=3D2f, and height of fixed semi-cone hf=2D1f, where D1f is fixed semi-cone upper diameter, D2f is fixed semi-cone lower diameter. Housing of the movable semi-cone is a fragment of a thin-walled hexagonal truncated pyramid with rounded faces, cut off by a transverse vertical plane along the axis of symmetry with an offset from the transverse vertical plane by a value b. Lines of bends are made as per appropriate vertices of upper and lower hexagons. Ratio of generatrix diameters inscribed into inner cavity of movable semi-cone is D1m=2D2m, height of movable half-cone hm=1.5D1m, and value b=0.2D1m, where D1m is the movable semi-cone upper diameter, D2m is the lower diameter of the movable semi-cone. Ratio of inscribed in inner cavity of upper forming diameters of fixed and movable semi-cones of planting cone is D1f/D1m=1.1.

EFFECT: invention will make it possible to plant root crops with high quality and to reduce damage of root crops, and also to transport the machine along public roads.
