FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering and can be used for oriented planting of beet grafters to produce seeds. The invention is a beet root planter for planting root crops, which includes a frame supported by front pneumatic and rear support-rolling wheels, a hopper mounted on the frame with an inclined bottom, along the front wall of which feed conveyors installed at an angle to the horizontal pass. Trays are installed at the tailing of feeding conveyors at an angle ϕ to the horizontal by 4°…6° more than the sliding friction angle of root crops. Rotary orienting devices are installed under the trays, located above the sowing devices with sealing organs. The translational velocities of the feed conveyors (Vt) and linear (circumferential) velocities (Vp) of the rotary orienting devices along the outer diameter of the blades are equal to each other, and the step s between the scrapers of the feed conveyors is determined by the expression: where α is the angle between the blades of the orienting device; D is the outer diameter of the circumference of the blades.
EFFECT: invention provides an improvement in the quality of piece-by-piece mechanized oriented planting of beet grafters, regardless of their size and taper.
