FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to rotorcraft designs. Vertical takeoff and landing aircraft comprises fuselage, power plant, wing consoles, lift-sustainer propellers generating vertical thrust at takeoff. At the front in the upper part of fuselage in the fuselage symmetry plane there is a rotary mast hinged, inside which the drive transmission of coaxial lifting-sustainer large-diameter propellers installed on the mast passes. Fuselage tail section accommodates two smaller-diameter lift-and-tail propellers arranged in rotary annular channels symmetrically with respect to the plane of symmetry.
EFFECT: increasing flight safety, since in the event of an engine failure during takeoff or landing, landing on the chassis and safely deformable wing consoles is possible, with the maximum permissible overload.
