FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to manned and unmanned rotorcraft. Gyroplane comprises fuselage, fan units, two freely rotating gyroscopic rotors are used to create lift, they are arranged on masts in front and rear ends of fuselage. Gyroplane is equipped with devices for preliminary spinning of rotors made in the form of jet engines installed in end parts of rotor blades. Working body of jet engines is reduced compressed air from fuselage tubular frame. Fan units have an electric drive and are grouped in pairs and coaxially in annular nozzles; at that, the front motor-propeller group has a pulling screw, and the rear one - a pusher.
EFFECT: possibility of vertical take-off without rotor pitch variation mechanism, increased stability of flight and dynamic characteristics in terms of expansion of the range of permissible rolls and reduction of turning radius, simplified control at transfer of the vehicle to horizontal flight.
