FIELD: performed operations; construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental protection. Air cleaning tower includes foundation, tower building, filtering plant, pipe and power supply and automatics equipment. Pipe top has opening to discharge cleaned air into ambient air. Reinforced concrete foundation is made under the tower building, and the building body consists of sandwich panels on metal structures. Besides, in tower building there are process units with individual access to each and with fans installed in them. At that, each unit fans are made with possibility of the contaminated air flow directing to the to a filter unit consisting of electrostatic filters connected by a ventilation air duct, and the air ducts from the electrostatic filters are connected to the pipe, providing the ability to move the cleaned air to the window for its discharge due to the pressure of the fans and independent thrust. Power supply and automation equipment is made in a separate heated container and is connected to the tower building by means of power supply and control cables.
EFFECT: invention provides air cleaning with nominal capacity of 200,000 m3/h from suspended impurities, smokes of different density, oil-and-fat aerosols and strong smells.
