SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to produce precursors of graphene products and compositions. Method of obtaining graphene foam includes mechanical machine treatment of graphite raw material. Graphite material with particle size of up to 0.5 mm is milled in a rotary percussion mill in one step to particle size less than 0.08 mm.

EFFECT: invention reduces time and power consumption when producing graphene foam in industry.
