FIELD: packaging and storage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a new container for consumer goods such as elongated aerosol-generating articles and components of aerosol-generating articles. Container (1) contains external sleeve (10) and internal sliding part (12) inside external sleeve. Outer sleeve coating comprises first panel (155) and second panel (156), wherein first panel (155) is detachably detached from outer sleeve (10) along first weakened line (A), second panel (156) is detachably detached from first panel (155) along second weakened line (B), and wherein second panel (156) is permanently attached to the inner surface of outer sleeve (10). When first panel (155) is separated from outer sleeve (10) and second panel (156) at the upper end of outer sleeve (10) first hole (300) of the outer sleeve opens. Furthermore, inner sliding part (12) becomes movable inside outer sleeve (10) between completely inserted position and extended position, in which inner sliding part (12) extends at least partially beyond outer shell (10) through first hole (300) in outer shell. Upper edge of front wall (252) of inner sliding part engages with corresponding lower edge of second panel (156) to prevent extraction of inner sliding part (12) from outer sleeve (10) through first hole (300) in outer sleeve. In general, it is desirable to improve ease of use of reclosable container.
