FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: electric energy metering system contains an active and reactive electric energy metering device fixed at a height higher than human height, which is a housing with electrical components inside and a processor unit connected to these components for reading the parameters of the consumed part of the energy of this network, as well as a remote control panel of the device, having a display and buttons for selecting items in the menu. Housing is made in the form of a flattened parallelepiped with rounded faces, the upper part of which is made in the form of converging inclined walls, and the lower part on the front side above the bottom wall is made with in-line windows. Bottom wall is made L-shaped, vertical panel of which is made of transparent polymer material is located on housing opposite row of windows, and the horizontal panel of semitransparent polymer material is located at the bottom of the housing transversely to it and contains a row of holes for input of wire ends for connection with electrical components. On the horizontal panel there are two closed slots for SIM-cards at one end of the row of these holes and a port for an optical serial data transfer interface which is closed by the thinned part of the horizontal panel of the bottom. Inside the housing there is an element of light illumination for illumination of the bottom panels, and the processor unit is made with the function of receiving control signals through the optical port from the remote control panel and transmitting to the panel information signals on parameters of the consumed part of electrical energy.

EFFECT: improved operational properties of high-level electric energy meter due to provision of protection of remote access to meter readings in mode of its visually visible operation.
