FIELD: testing.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to testing processes and test equipment for testing of butt joint pumps. Method of testing pumps consists in that tested pump 12 is installed and fixed on chamber adapter 11, the working fluid is sucked by pump 12 and pumped. Adapter 11 is a hollow box-shaped metal structure comprising an internal simulation chamber accommodating a filter and a safety valve, in such a way that the hydraulic channels made on the interface surfaces of adapter 11, on one side, coincide with the hydraulic channels of manifold plate 13, and on the other side coincide with the hydraulic channels of pump 12. Adapter shaft end 11 is engaged with pump 12 shaft. Coupling, mounted on adapter shaft 11 other end, is engaged with test bench drive cardan shaft. Simulation chamber of adapter 11 is filled with working fluid and air is displaced from it. After the test, the working fluid is drained from the simulation chamber of adapter 11 into the leaks collecting tank 4.

EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at improving reliability of test results by providing test conditions maximally close to operating conditions.
