SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engineering and can be used for testing cardan drive. Device consists of electric motor installed on the main frame, technological transmission in the form of mechanical gearbox, connected to input shaft of the tested cardan transmission, output shaft of which is connected to load device through gear reducer. Loading device is made in form of hydraulic pump, shaft of which is connected to output shaft of dispensing gear, Input channel of the hydraulic pump is connected to hydraulic tank, and outlet channel is connected to throttle input with regulating element whose output through heat exchanger is connected to hydraulic tank, while safety valve and pressure gauge, calibrated in units of braking torque, are installed between hydraulic pump output channel and throttle input. Loading device is equipped with automatic control system, which includes control unit consisting of operation algorithm master unit, comparison element, automatic control device, signal amplifier, pressure sensor and temperature sensor installed between hydraulic pump and throttle input with control element and connected to comparison element, thermo valve with control element, installed between throttle output with regulating element and heat exchanger, and throttle and thermo valve connected via position sensors of regulating element to comparison element. Throttle and thermocouple control elements are equipped with actuators for controlling their position, connected to signal amplifier output, each of which contains stepper motor and reducer.

EFFECT: technical result is to ensure stability of braking torque.
