FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: test bench for hydraulic downhole motor consists of first and second serially arranged brake mechanisms 8 and 9 connected to shaft 10 of motor and made in form of brake case 15. The case contains a brake shaft mounted on supports of rotation and two units of pneumatic brakes 19 and 20 mounted on the brake shaft opposite to brake case 15 and tied with it. Each unit of pneumatic brakes 19, 20 contains a row of serially arranged brake disks connected with the brake shaft and creating braking torque. The braking shaft and the motor shaft are connected for transfer of torque. Each unit of pneumatic brakes 19, 20 is equipped with cavities for cooling fluid. The bench has device 38 for control of supply and pressure of air in units of pneumatic brakes 19, 20 connected with computer 39.

EFFECT: quick definition of brake torque range by means of unit of pneumatic brakes controlled with computer, upgraded accuracy of measurement of torque and maximal torque.
