FIELD: treatment of water.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of environmental protection and can be used in collecting emergency spills of liquid hydrocarbons from the surface of navigable water bodies and rivers. Method according to the first variant includes step-by-step technologies for installing an oil collector vessel at the boundary of the liquid hydrocarbon spill spot; deploying the front and back inflatable barriers, securing the position thereof relative to the longitudinal axis of the oil collector vessel at an angle of 70° to 90°; pulling together the ends of the front and back inflatable barriers until contact; lowering a suction hose until the float intake nozzle is set on the surface of the liquid hydrocarbon spill spot; starting the pump and pumping the liquid hydrocarbons into the oil collection tank of the oil collector vessel. Method according to the second option includes the stages of bringing the oil collector vessel to the front edge of the liquid hydrocarbon spill spot in the river flow direction; deploying the back inflatable barrier, securing the position thereof relative to the longitudinal axis of the oil collector vessel at an angle from 60° to 80°; pulling the end of the back inflatable barrier to a distance from the end thereof to the nearest side of the oil collector vessel equal to 0.5 of the maximum length of the back inflatable barrier; stopping the oil collector vessel; lowering the suction hose until the float intake nozzle is set on the surface of the liquid hydrocarbon spill spot; starting the pump and pumping the liquid hydrocarbons into the oil collection tank of the oil collector vessel. Apparatus for collecting emergency spills of liquid hydrocarbons from the surface of navigable water bodies and rivers comprises a front cassette equipped with a front inflatable barrier and rigidly secured on a beam secured movably on a beam equipped with a hoisting mechanism and rigidly secured on the deck of the oil collector vessel, in port-side bow part thereof; a back cassette equipped with a back inflatable barrier and rigidly secured on a beam secured movably on a beam equipped with a hoisting mechanism and rigidly secured on the deck of the oil collector vessel, in port-side aft part thereof; two pairs of mounting drums equipped with drives, with mounting cables, wherein each pair is secured on the sides of the front and back cassettes, respectively; front and back tensioning drums equipped with front and back tensioning cables, respectively, and installed on the deck of the oil collector vessel near the beams secured in the bow and aft parts of the oil collector vessel, respectively, wherein the free end of the front tensioning cable is secured on the front end of the back inflatable barrier, and the free end of the back tensioning cable is secured on the front end of the front inflatable barrier; a compressor installed on the deck of the oil collector vessel and connected to the back parts of the internal cavities of the front and back inflatable barriers via air ducts and pneumatic hoses; a pump installed on the deck of the oil collector vessel, connected to the suction hose equipped with a float intake nozzle and to the oil collection tank placed in the hold of the oil collector vessel.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of collecting emergency spills of liquid hydrocarbons from the surface of navigable water bodies and rivers.
