FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field pipelines for oil and oil products. Method of repair with replacement of damaged pipes on main pipelines of liquid hydrocarbons using elastic in-tube sealers includes installation of repair pipe with cutting in its middle part of mounting opening, installation of repair neck on it. After cutting the defective section of the pipeline, elastic in-pipe sealers are installed in each of the pipeline parts. Ends of pneumatic lines connected to elastic in-pipe sealers and mounting cables connected to mounting rims, which are attached to elastic in-tube sealers in their middle part, are brought out through mounting opening. Sealants are filled with gas. Repair string of pipes is connected to pipeline by welding, gas is released from elastic in-pipe sealers, and they are successively pulled out through mounting opening by means of mounting cables. Mounting insert is installed and fixed by means of tack welders. Slots between end edges of mounting opening and mounting insert are filled with composite sealant. A plug is attached to the repair neck.

EFFECT: invention of oil products and can be used at repair of their defective areas.
