FIELD: cathode-ray equipment. SUBSTANCE: device for extraction of particle flux has particle source 1 and buffer chamber 2 with individual pumping means. Walls of buffer chambers have coaxial holes 3 and 4 which ducts are continued by branch pipes 5 and 6 in the form of truncated cones directed inwards buffer chambers 2. Crescent-shaped tubes 7 which end cuts 8 and 9 are located near cuts 10 and 11 and branch pipes 5 and 6 and are directed away from electron source are placed between branch pipes 5 and 6. Normals to cuts of crescent-shaped tubes 7 passing through their symmetry centers pass through center of cut of branch pipes 5 and 6 too. For provision of pressure necessary for operation of source it appears possible to enlarge diameters of cuts 10 and 11 from 5.0 to 10.0 mm ( if there are three crescent-shaped tubes 7 ) which correspondingly enlarges four times area of holes and consequently particle flux of extracted beam. Device is designed for extraction of intensive particle beams from vacuum into high-pressure gas atmosphere. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of device. 1 dwg
