FIELD: immobilization of radioactive waste. SUBSTANCE: electric glassmaking furnace has refractory bath with neck 2 worked out deep separating it into cooking 3 and production 4 pits. Melted glass mass goes from cooking pit through neck and threshold 7 into collection zone. When portion of glass mass is collected plug 10 is withdrawn from hole 9 and finished product pours over chute 11 into container 13. Thanks to formation of glass mass collection zone with installation of threshold in production pit no fluctuations level of glass mass in cooking pit occur, electric parameters of cooking process are stable, furnace productivity increases and corrosion of refractory material is diminished. EFFECT: increased productivity of furnace with periodic discharge of ready product. 1 dwg
