METHOD FOR DEVELOPMENT OF NONUNIFORM OIL RESERVOIRS Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: gas and oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: nonuniform oil reservoir is exposed by system of injection wells and producing wells. Reservoir fluid is withdrawn through producing wells. To maintain the reservoir pressure, working fluid is injected through injection wells. Then, fringe of agents increasing filtering resistance of porous media is injected into reservoir. Injection of said fringe is accomplished at rate less than that of liquid withdrawal from reservoir. Said excess of withdrawal rate over rate of injection is effected in producing wells in direction of which leading development of active influence on reservoir is observed. This results in increase of area sweep efficiency of reservoir. After injection of needed amount of said agent, injection into injection wells is discontinued for the time required for stopping overflow of said agent from low-permeable reservoir to high- permeable one. Then, active stimulation of reservoir is continued. If according to adopted procedure, fringes of said agent are injected by portions, injection into injection wells is discontinued after completion of injection of each separate fringe. These operations are accomplished between active stimulation of reservoir. EFFECT: higher efficiency of development due to increased sweep efficiency of reservoir. 2 cl, 1 dwg
