FIELD: organic chemistry, unsaturated acids. SUBSTANCE: the end product is synthesized by carbonylation of 1-methyl-1-butyne-3-ol with carbon monoxide in the medium of methanol under atmospheric pressure in the presence of system CuCl2/CH3COONa as a catalyst at 20-29 C. Methanol, 3-methyl-1-butyne-3-ol, copper chloride and sodium acetate are added at molar ratio 5: 0.02: (0.06-0.08): (0.06-0.08). Yield of the end product is 43-32% as compared with 17-20% by known method. EFFECT: enhanced yield of the end product.
