FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mixes of current-conducting disperse materials with portland cement and dielectric filler are agitated. Milled quartz sand with particles from 0.2 to 1.0 mm is used as filler, its amount being 1 mass number per 1 to 3 mass numbers of portland cement. The obtained mix is compacted with a delay at a pressure of 100 to 150 MPa with simultaneous impregnation of it with saturated steam, and dried. Use of milled quartz sand in the composition allows the specific dissipation energy to be enhanced. EFFECT: enhanced specific energy dissipation of resistors. 5 tbl
