FIELD: aeronautical engineering. SUBSTANCE: drive has actuating cylinder 1 connected with tank 3, floating piston 4 and rod 5 connected with hatch door 7; drive is also provided with damper made in form of cylindrical sleeve at end of piston 4. Piston 4 is provided with central through passage 10, rod is mounted in passage and cylindrical sleeve is made at end of piston opposite to gate: when gate is open under action of mass of liquid contained in tank 3, rod is free to slide in passage 10 till its tip rests against piston 4 through flexible cushion of compressed working medium in cylindrical sleeve 11. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of fire-fighting due to retaining compactness of discharged liquid owing to similar rate of opening the door and free-fall speed. 1 dwg
