FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly to fire extinguishing systems used on aircraft, for example, helicopters. Tank for extinguishing liquid contains housing divided into compartments by deflectors and equipped with flaps. Note here that tank inner space is divided into four compartments by means of keel lengthwise beam and crosswise diaphragm with bypass valves. Compartments are connected in pairs and diagonally and form two independent consumption groups. Water level sensors are installed in each compartment. In each of the compartments transverse deflectors with holes are arranged. Casing top panel accommodates transverse beams while pipeline end accommodates pipelines for every consumable. In the lower part of the tank in the left front compartment there is a pump attachment assembly. A hose is attached to the tank from above. In the lower part along the tank housing length a niche is made for opening flaps, which are fixed in pairs on hinge loops. Each flap of the tank is individually equipped with an electric drive of a linear type, each of which is connected to an electromagnetic coupling. At the same time driven part of electromagnetic coupling is connected to shaft, which is located longitudinally inside tank. On the shaft additional rockers are fixed, connected to flaps by means of leashes and brackets.
EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of tank of increased size and improvement of efficiency of execution of fire extinguishing operations performed by helicopter, with possibility of tank application in conditions of negative temperatures.
