FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: conversion cast iron has, wt.-%: carbon 4.0-4.8; silicon 0.38-0.80; manganese 0.37-0.86; vanadium 0.48-0.82; chrome 0.44-0.91; titanium 0.21-0.0.47; copper 0.01-0.12; phosphorus 0.04-0.18; nickel 0.02-0.30, and iron - the rest. Use of proposed conversion cast iron ensures to increase conversion degree of vanadium from cast iron to slag by 4-5% , decrease loss of vanadium slag by 4% and decrease vanadium furnace loss at wear-resistant ingot manufacture by 10%. EFFECT: enhanced quality of conversion cast iron. 1 tbl
