FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: trenches are dipped out along a slope. The trenches are filled in half of their depths with draining material and then with a layer of humus. Landings are set in the upper part of the slope. The landings are deepened by the same value as the trenches. The trenches are communicated with the landings. Water is accumulated in the landings on upper part of the slope and then is filtered through the layer of draining material of the trenches. In so doing the water warms the soil as much as possible. The trenches and landings promote drying the swampy slope, that increases heat influx to the soil, that earlier was consumed on moisture evaporation. EFFECT: effective use of swampy areas. 3 cl, 3 dwg
