FIELD: veterinary microbiology. SUBSTANCE: rabbits were immunized with native cells of the strain Escherichia coli ВГНКИ 422-16/37. Strain is monoplasmid variant of culture E. coli C600 (pK99). Strain does not synthesize the known O-, K-, H-antigenes. Strain has natural plasmid which determines antigene K99 production and provides resistance to tetracycline and streptomycin. Rabbits were immunized at the dose 1 1 ± 0,5 0.5 billion cells by intravenous administration, four times at 7 days interval. Prepared serum is not subjected for adsorption. Prepared serum shows high activity and specificity. EFFECT: simplified method, increased activity and specificity of product. 3 tbl
