FIELD: production of organic compounds. SUBSTANCE: preparation of adenosine is carried out by catalytic solid-phase hydrogenolysis with gaseous tritium of 2′,8-anhydro-8-mercaptoarabinofuranosyladenine (AF) at 150-170 C in the presence of Na2CO3 and at a pressure of 50 KPa. The AF to catalyst to Na2CO3 weight ratio is 1:75:4. The catalyst is palladium on barium sulfate. These conditions make it possible to increase AD molar activity by 4 or 5 times (2220 to 3219 k/mole) at a yield of 30 to 47% EFFECT: increased AD molar activity. 1 tbl
