FIELD: metallurgy; continuous casting of electrodes on inclined casting machines from small-capacity furnaces. SUBSTANCE: device comprises lined metal receiver 4, mold 1 and metal conduit 3 whose inlet portion 5 is connected to metal receiver 4 while its outlet portion 2, to mold 1. Inlet portion 5 of metal conduit 3 is provided with end wall 6 while its upper side wall 7 has inlet hole 8, size D, located in lower part of bottom of lining 9 of metal receiver 4. Working surface of lining is funnel-shaped. Hole 8 of metal conduit accommodates refractory diaphragm 10 with central hole whose dimensions are 0,5....0.8 of the corresponding dimensions of the inlet hole. Internal surface of metal conduit 3 is cone-shaped, flaring out towards the outlet from diameter D₁ to D₂, said inlet hole 8 being located above working space 11 of mold 1, higher by the value of h.
