FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: strain of fungus Fusarium sambucinum VKM F-3051D is used for prostaglandins preparing. Morphological properties of strain: on Chapek medium strain forms substrate mycelium - white, fluffy, nonpigmented. On potato-dextrose agar mycelium is dirty-white, solid, felted-like with weak ocher-colored pigmentation. Complete growing over of plates is carried out for 14 days. Physiological properties: macroconidia are spindle-shaped, septum quantity is 1-5. Mycelium grows at 26-28 C only. Strain utilizes well sucrose, fructose, glucose, inositol, xylose and dextrose. Strain VKM F-3051D grown on the liquid nutrient media produces prostaglandins E2 and F at concentration 6.1-7.0 mg/l cultural fluid. EFFECT: preparing of fungus strain indicated above. 1 tbl
