FIELD: electrophotography. SUBSTANCE: copolymer of N-epoxypropylcarbazole with 9 mol.% of ter-butylglycidyl ether and alkyl ester of 2,5,7-trinitrofluorenone-4-5-carbonic acid as a sensitizer of the formula given in the invention description, where AlK-n-; iso-C5H11, C5H11, C6H13,C11H23 at the relationship in wt.% of components, 80-87 of copolymer and 13-20 of sensitizer, is dissolved in a suitable solvent and is applied onto a substrate. EFFECT: improved layer quality due to increased threshold charging potentials and light modulation ability with retained high electrophotographic sensitivity in spectrum visible region. 2 tbl
