FIELD: drilling. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for check of geophysical parameters of boreholes. In body of shifter 1 there is installed acoustic pickup in the form of hollow toroid 2 inside which two radial partitions 3, 4 are positioned. Ball 7 is placed for movement between partitions 3, 4 in sound absorbing space 5 with hole 6. Two bearing stands 8, 8 are attached in shifter 1 perpendicular to its axis. Hollow toroid 2 is mounted vertically between bearing stands 8, 9 for turning on shafts 10, 11 fixed diametrically opposite on hollow toroid 2. In process of drilling elastic waves propagate over string. From their polyharmonic spectrum sound absorbing space 5 absorbs frequency equal to resonance frequency of acoustic pickup. Absorbed frequency is proportional to volume of sound absorbing space 5. With change of angle of curvature ball 7 rolls into space 5 which leads to alteration of absorbed frequency by which angle value of curvature is determined.
