FIELD: drilling. SUBSTANCE: acoustic method is based on process of sound absorption. Drill pipe string is excited with generator of polyharmonic sound vibrations. Frequencies f are absorbed from spectrum by resonance elements with opening holes. By absorbed frequencies momentary values of angle of direction of turbo-drill with respect to plane of curvature of borehole and of angle between direction of borehole and vertical are determined in accordance with formula , where K is proportionality factor; C is speed of sound in fluid; F is area of hole connecting space of resonance device with space of borehole; V is volume of space of resonance device; h is thickness of wall of resonance device. EFFECT: increased accuracy of check thanks to absorption of vibrations corresponding to checked orientation parameters from polyharmonic spectrum. 3 dwg
