FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: facility has first independently excited loading generator 2 mechanically coupled with shaft of induction motor 1 under test, first auxiliary set built up of first independently excited d.c. drive motor 3 mechanically coupled with second synchronous loading generator 4 whose leads are connected to respective phase of induction motor 1 under test through respective terminals of electric unit 8, second auxiliary set built up of second drive motor 6 mechanically coupled with auxiliary independently excited d.c. generator 5 that functions to compensate for loss and to conduct tests at various frequencies and amplitudes of supply voltage. First leads of first motor 3 are connected to common bus; second lead of auxiliary generator 5 is connected to second output of first drive motor 3. Facility is also provided with switching element 9 inserted between second lead of first loading generator 2 and point of connection of second leads of auxiliary generator 5 and first drive motor 3. EFFECT: improved reliability, enlarged functional capabilities. 1 dwg
