FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: synthesis is carried out by condensation of C5-fraction of gasoline pyrolysis containing diene hydrocarbons cyclopentadiene, isoprene and pentadiene-1,3 with ethylene. Process is carried out at molar ratio of ethylene and diene hydrocarbons (15-20):1, at 280-300 C, under pressure 120-150 atm. Synthesized cycloolefins, in part, methylcyclohexenes, were used for synthesis of different additions to polymeric materials, fuel, oils. EFFECT: increased yield of methylcyclohexenes. 2 tbl
