FIELD: chemistry of heterocyclic compounds which can be used in medicine. SUBSTANCE: the synthesis of the desired compound is effected by reacting 7-hydroxyisoflavone with 4-carboxymethyleneoxycinnamic acid dichloride in toluene on boiling. The yield 70%, mp 282-283 C, the empirical formula: C41H26O9. The toxicity LD50 greater than 3000 mg/kg. The hypotensive activity of the new compound is by 2 times greater than that of theobromine, and the hypolipidemic activity of the new compound is by 1.5 times greater than that of cetamiphene.
