FIELD: environment control technology. SUBSTANCE: this relates to design of device for catalytic after-burning of ventilation gases and it allows for increasing efficiency of device due to more complete utilization of heat from secondary heating chamber together with reduction of hydraulic resistance in heat exchanger-recuperator. Catalytic after-burning device has heat exchanger-recuperator, electric chamber of secondary heating, catalytic chamber, vessels with catalyzer. Electric chamber of secondary heating with catalyzer is located inside heat exchanger-recuperator having two spiral passages which are created by double-start flights. They are installed between shells of secondary heating chamber and of body. Inlet spiral passage is connected with spiral hollow of electric secondary heating chamber. Outlet spiral passage is connected with space of catalytic chamber. Flights located on external side of internal shell of electric secondary heating chamber which create hollow of spiral passage are crossed by heating elements which are secured on cover of electric secondary heating chamber.
