FIELD: centrifugal mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: centrifuge is comprised of a casing with at least one tangentially-fastened branch pipe for admission of source suspension into the casing and a sediment discharge branch pipe, a vertical filtering rotor installed in the casing and accommodating a device for discharge of clarified liquid and a rotor drive. Besides it has a package of stationary conical inserts whose larger base faces down and which form a circular channel with a filtering rotor for the passage of suspension and a circular channel with the casing wall for the discharge of sediment. Secured to the upper end of the package and to the casing wall is a cone-shaped shell which separates the source suspension admission zone from the sediment discharge zone while the rotor is provided with blade-type twisting device for source suspension, located in its admission zone.
