FIELD: TV devices. SUBSTANCE: object image is projected to matrix discrete image detector. Elements of resulted picture are read during one frame period. Light flow is divided to elementary flows according to number of elements in matrix discrete image detector. Their area is covered after m x n steps. Elementary light flow areas ΔS, conform to equation ΔS·m·n=S,. Resulted image is read and stored with number of elements by factor of m x n greater than elements in matrix discrete image detector. Light flow scanning is controlled synchronously with image reading during period Tn=Tk·m·n,, where Tn is total time of picture signal generation, Tk is period for generation of one image. Corresponding device has input lens 1, matrix discrete image detector 2, electronic sweeping unit 3, memory unit 4, mask 5, microscanning unit 6. Image of object is projected to matrix discrete image detector through input lens 1 and mask 5. During first request cycle the matrix discrete image detector is moved in focal plane of input lens 1 and memory unit 4 stores all first pixels. After m x n request cycles memory unit 4 stores all pixels that contain whole picture. EFFECT: increased resolution. 2 cl, 2 dwg
