FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: water-lithium chemical source of electric energy has stationary lithium anode 1 pressed into anode sleeve 2 made of current- conducting material with provision for electric contact between them due to annular grooves 22 in bottom of sleeve, mobile cathode in the form of cathode holder 10 with cathode grid 8 attached to protrusions 9 installed into cylindrical body 15, contact pressure system anode-cathode, electrolyte circulation agitator, inlet and outlet unions 11, 16. Cathode body has annular protrusion 17 close to base and is provided with system of electrolyte collection formed by side and upper surfaces of cathode holder, annular protrusion 17 and lower surface of cathode body 15, outlet union, upper and lower labyrinth washers 14, 13 having inner and outer annular protrusions. Upper labyrinth washer is provided with four slots 29. Inlet union lies on axis of cathode holder and is equipped with distribution checkwork with concentric rows of holes and inclined ring ribs arranged opposite to outlets of these holes and central hole made expanding towards outlet. Gap between cathode grid and lower surface of cathode holder in each point is produced inversely proportional to distance to axis of cathode. Axis of holes of upper labyrinth washer is turned through 90 deg with respect to axis of outlet union to cover of cathode body. Axes of slots of inner annular protrusion of lower labyrinth washer are turned through 45 deg with reference to axis of upper labyrinth washer. Distribution checkwork 12 is provided with outer inclined ring rib 27 locating checkwork in cathode holder 10. Shoulder 3 is made in upper edge of lithium anode beneath annular protrusion 17 of cathode. EFFECT: prolonged service life and improved mass and size characteristics. 6 cl, 5 dwg
