FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: furnace has housing 1 with lining 2 mounted inside housing 1 on flexible heat insulating suspension 3. The suspension is made up of two concentric cylindrical metal shells 4,5 corrugated in the longitudinal and lateral directions. The shells are interconnected over the whole length and connected to housing 1 over 0.03-0.05 of the length of housing 1. Lining 2 is made of reinforced heat-resistant concrete. Housing 1 is made of heat- resistant aluminum alloy. A gap is provided between housing 1 and flexible heat insulating suspension 3. Stops 6 are arranged on the inner surface of housing 1 along hollows of lateral corrugations of outer shell 4 of flexible suspension 3. EFFECT: enhanced longevity. 3 dwg
