SUBSTANCE: machine for continuous production of metal strip has: metal collector 1 coupled via wall through aperture 2 with molten metal 25 chamber 3; cut off branch pipe 4 for molten metal casting; branch pipe 5 for chamber vacuum pumping; combined lids 6,7; hydraulic cylinder 8 to maintain pads 9 of cooled drum 10; plasmotrons 11 for smelting and plasmotrons 12 for cutting strip 26 side edges 27 off. Side walls upper parts, where they adjoin butt wall, have apertures 13 with bottoms 14. Guides 16, used to move cut off edges in apertures, are mounted in front of through aperture 15 in butt wall. Metal collector outside there is double roller apparatus 21 to draw strip out of cooled drum and drive. EFFECT: increased quality of produced strip and output of good metal. 6 cl, 2 dwg
