FIELD: pulse technique; development of high- voltage power supplies for direct-action accelerators. SUBSTANCE: pulse transformer primary winding is built up of several turns 1, each connected to separate coil 13 with common switch 5 onto storage capacitor 6. Coils 13 have different inductance; coil spaced from point of connection of secondary winding 2 with internal conductor of shaping coaxial line 3 at distance equal to clearance between conductors 3 and 4 has the lowest inductance. Inductances of coils 13 selected here ensure optimal matching and high efficiency of device. EFFECT: improved efficiency of device. 2 cl, 4 dwg
