FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: when creating a digital twin of a single-phase electrical transformer, matrices of inductive coupling of the primary and secondary windings along magnetic fields outside the magnetic circuit are used, the digital model is calibrated based on the analysis of experimental oscillograms of currents and voltages in the idle mode and short circuits, which are used to calculate the inductance matrix for the fields outside the magnetic circuit, the active resistance of the magnetization branch and the real magnetization curve.
EFFECT: ability to simulate operation of the transformer with high accuracy of coincidence of instantaneous currents and voltages obtained by simulating random modes of operation of the transformer with real oscillograms.
